Who is slinkachu?
This is the creator of, Slinkachu. Stuart Slinkachu is a British street artist. He is best known for his Little People Project series, which consists of remodeling and repainting miniature figurines which are then installed and photographed in public places.
I think this is a very creative idea because it can actually capture the scene/image more effectively. I also believe there is a meaning behind these small figures.

Some photographs that stood out for me;
Out of the three, the money tug of war is my favourite one because it shows a true meaning that everybody can relate to.
All of these photographs are amazing because, you can easily tell what they are and what the people are doing in the photographs. The camera settings were set perfect. I also like these photographs because their size really adds depth and effect to the photos.
My least favourite photograph I found;
I think this is the worst photograph that I found of slinkachu because, it doesn't seem to have a meaning behind it and it isn't very clear of what the photograph is showing.
My favourite photograph I found;
This is the best photograph I found because, the lighting is perfect on it and you can also see the mini figures quite well. Also, the photograph isn't blurry. The detail on the photo is amazing.
Isaac Cordal
Cement Eclipses is one of his best known projects consisting of small cement sculptures photographed in urban space. His figures can be found pasted on top of bus shelters, walls, cornices by its small size is necessary to pay much attention to find them. The sculptures serve for the artist as a metaphor to reflect on politics, bureaucracy, power and problems that occur with people and the world. Isaac studied at the University of Fine Arts Pontevedra, degree in sculpture. He studied for five years at the School of Canteiros Pontevedra, a school dedicated to the conservation of stone crafts. He also trained at Camberwell College of Arts in London. Isaac Cordal was a founding member of Alg-a.org, digital art community from Galicia.
Isaac Cordal is a Spanish artist who has an urban style and includes that into his slinkachu photographs. Personally, I really like what he does with his mini figures, every single photograph he takes has some sort of meaning in them. I would like to include some meaning In my slinkachu photographs when I take them. He also likes to make very basic things look interesting.
Christopher boffoli
Christopher Boffoli is a fine art photographer, photojournalist, independent filmmaker, and journalist based in Seattle. He is best known for his "Big Appetites" photographs series, in which tiny, detailed human figures pose in real food environments. I like his work because he uses creative ideas and includes food with them.
While in college, Christopher Boffoli started his own commercial photography company in Charleston, South Carolina, and later worked for 12 years as a philanthropic fundraiser for universities such as Dartmouth College and the London School of Economics After recovering from a fall during a climbing expedition of Mount Rainier in which he suffered a broken leg and nerve and tendon damage, he decided that a career in academia was not as fulfilling as "doing creative things" and focused his energy on the arts this is what persuade him to create creative slinkachu photographs.
PRACTICE SHOOT
Planning for shoot One:
For my slinkachu shoot im going to try and recreate this photograph by Slinkachu.
For my photograph im going to use foam pieces instead of crisp, I will use stones and the background will be in the art room, as if the characters are cleaning up.
For my photograph im going to use foam pieces instead of crisp, I will use stones and the background will be in the art room, as if the characters are cleaning up.
This is the photograph im going to try and recreate for my first shoot. I don't think ill be able to do the exact same thing but ill try or I can just change a few things.
My first shoot;
This is my first shoot. Overall, I think I did okay but on some of them they didn't really turn out well. Some of them didn't turn out because I got too much of the background in the photographs.
My favourite photograph;
My least favourite photograph;
This is my least favourite photograph because the slinkachu wasn't in focus and the white balance was too dark for the room. Also, the room I was taking the photo in was too dark and the background didn't fit well with it either. On this photograph, the white balance wasn't on the right setting so it made it look not as good as it should have.
For my next shoot I want to improve on my first, I will use more of the foam pieces so that the majority of the image is filled with the foam pieces and you cant see the table. I will have the figures on top as if they are digging or trying to clean up.
My second shoot;
My favourite photograph;
This is my favourite photograph because it makes the slinkachu look bigger than they actually are and the leaves look very detailed which adds an effect.
For my third shoot;
For my third shoot, im going to improve on my first ones, by using the same ideas and objects. Im going to decide to use the foam pieces as the floor/snow to look like he is digging up the foam pieces.
For my fourth shoot I'm going to use a background this time to make it look more realistic. I am still going to use the foam pieces as the snow and make it look like the slinkachu character is in the picture.
My fourth shoot;
My least favourite photograph;
This is my least favourite photograph because the white balance is too light and bright and you cant see the man very well in this picture. I also think that the background has took over the picture so you cant see the foam bits and character very well.
My favourite photograph;
This is my favourite photograph because the foam pieces and character are in focus and the background is out of focus so it looks like he`s in the background. another reason why I like this picture is because it looks like the character is shovelling snow because the foam pieces look like snow.
My fifth shoot;
For my next shoot I am going to use a pair of glasses and have the figure cleaning them as if they are cleaning windows.
My least favourite photograph;
This is my least favourite photograph because the focus point was completely blurred out in this photo which didn't add any effect at all. Another reason why this didn't work is because the background was in the photo and I didn't really want it to be. The angle wasn't very good either because, I wanted to make the slinkachu figure look like he`s sitting on an edge of the glasses but it doesn't look as good as I wanted overall . In my opinion, the angle and focus point could be much better.
My favourite photograph;
This is my favourite photograph because the slinkachu character looks like he` normal human size and its adding a really good effect and that's what I was doing. Also, the camera was focusing on the slinkachu and the part of the glasses it was sitting on and the background was blurred out and that's what I was trying to do.
My sixth shoot;
For my next shoot, i`m going to use some colourful wool and make it look like the slinkachu character is climbing or going down the rope and the rope is going to be located on a fence to make it look even more realistic. The meaning behind this is to show that hes trying to escape the place that hes already in like an escape. I don't think any other artist has done this idea before so I am going to create something new. Im going to shoot this photograph outside on the fence with the wool hanging down so it looks like my character is climbing up or down the wool.
My favourite photograph:
This is my favourite photograph because, the focus point looks very focused on the slinkachu and fence. It has also blurred out the background which makes it look more effective. Even though you can see the blue tack, its still my favourite because they are in focus. I was originally supposed to take the picture from the front so you could see their faces but I decided to take it from the back to show that they were sitting looking at the sunset because the sun was facing them. Overall, if the blue tack wasn't there this photograph would be very good.
My least favorite photograph:
This is my worst photograph because the camera focused on the background and the trees instead of the slinkachu characters and this didn't really show what I wanted to photograph. Unlike my favourite photograph, this photo is showing the car park and school fences, which I didn't want to corporate in my photo. If the slinkachu was in focus and the background wasn't in focus, it would've been a good photograph.
